Ubuntu is based on Linux Platform OS. It is based on open source means free for all human who want use that Ubuntu is one the best OS compare to the others. Ubuntu never never detect any viruses cause this OS does not support .exe file. So this OS is highly secure with others.
As compare with other OS,One of the biggest advantages of Ubuntu or Linux OS is its built-in driver set, or rather the ability of automatically downloading and installing them.
As earlier , Ubuntu does not support all the important software . but now days all maximum software easily available for Ubuntu.
So here saw you Ubuntu 12.04 Installation Steps….
Step 1: insert ubuntu DVD in DVD-WRITER , and RESTART your computer.
Step 2: press F12 key from the keyboard for going to the boot menu.
Step 3: select boot device.
Step 4: now save the setting.
Step 5: After boot process is finished, you will see screen like this. After click on INSTALL UBUNTU for installing the UBUNTU.
Step 6: After that, preparing to install UBUNTU windows is opened.
This window is for update for installing the os. So check mark on that cause whenever new update is available at that time OS automatically install the updates.
And another dialog box is for used “Install from third party software” . means that if user wants play mp3 on his/her PC than check mark on that.
That depends on the user what they wants?
If you don’t have at least 4.5GB of available drive space, then you can’t continue.
Warning : when you don’t have minimum 4.5GB of available HDD space, then you can not install this OS
Step 7 : Now “Installing TYPE” their are two way to install ubuntu.
First if you want to format or erase ur disk and installing ubuntu then select first option “ERASE DISK AND INSTALL UBUNTU”
AND SECOND if you want to install multiple OS or partitions of your HDD , then select second option
“SOMETHING ELSE”
Step 8: after you select “erase disk and install ubuntu” , you can see page like this.
Now just click on “Install now” to continue installing.
Step 9:
Now choose your locations for your timezone
Step 10 :
Now checkout the keyboard layout. And choose keyboard layout
Step 11 : now choose your username and password. Select your user name and the password that easily you memorize
Step 12: now wait for while yous OS is installing….
