How to Make a shortcut of Restart in windows?

There are the various methods for Restart  computer.

In this method , we are provide shortcut of Restart. So direct click on that shortcut and then your computer is going to Restart. This is the simple and fast way to Restart  your computer from desktop.


 Step 1 : right click on desktop,  and select “New” and then “Shortcut”



Step 2 : now one window is pop-up, that ask you to “What item would you like to create a shortcut for?”

Step 3: now In , Type the location of the item  write this command “shutdown.exe -r” and click on next button



Note : if you wanna adujest the timing of the shutdown then write this command “shutdown.exe –s –t XXX” here XXX represent the time in seconds. So for example if you wanna shutdown your pc in 60 second then write command like this “shutdown.exe –r –t 60 ” . defalut timing is around 30sec

Step 4 : now type the name of the shortcut like “Restart” and click on Finish button.



Now your shortcut is createed , so just double click on short cut and youe PC is going to Restart.
